This film documents radical pioneers of the abortion rights movement in the US, following a conservative backlash in the late1980s. Pat Maginnis, Carol Downer, members of Jane and Flo Kennedy among others recall their own strategies in the 1970s to secure the right to abortion. With A Vengeance inspired a new generation of feminists in the battleground year of 1989 to become more aware of race, class and global issues.
