This film is a response to the mass media exploitation of the 1990 Gulf war. Model airplanes, helicopters and rocket launchers mock the New York Times excessive reports of new military technology at the expense of reporting news from Iraq. The animated clips from presidential speeches ranging from William Jennings Bryan to George H. Bush fuse with text from the US Constitution declaring Presidential powers. The “ call to war” media extravaganza challenges the viewer to consider allegiance and jingoism in this new technological era. (1992)
